Angelina Kou
President and Director
I am Angelina Kou, a rising senior in high school. I created this organization in freshman year to help those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This passion started at a young age while I was in art class and had classmates with ASD. I saw how art changed them and made them patient and calm, and I wanted to see how art therapy could change their lives. I am blessed to be part of this fantastic team and interact with unique and inspiring individuals.
Charlie Wang
Executive Director and Programmer
I am Charlie Wang, a student who loves technology and social welfare. I am involved with purple sense as a webmaster. My responsibilities include developing and maintaining our app, managing the organization's email system and in charge of the official website’s development, updating and maintenance Through these efforts, I hope to provide stable and efficient technical support to the organization so that it can better achieve its mission for children with autism.
Julia Zou
Executive Director and Creative Arts Coordinator
I am Zhuoyun (Julia) Zou, I come from China and am now living in Michigan as a Junior in high school. I love painting and an interest in biology. When I was asked if I would join the Purple Sense program to help ASD people using my painting skill to provide therapy, I said yes because I would like to support ASD children by my own strength. I am honored to contribute effort in helping ASD people a better life.

My name is Alice Yang, and I’m a rising high school junior in Michigan. My role in HEART-Blossom is leading outreach and operational activities to expand our organization and raise awareness. Through this, I hope to be able to reach more people and leave a greater impact on the community.

I am Allison Zhou from Georgia. I love biology, and I also like helping people. I will do my best to help ASD children, and I am very grateful to be part of this wonderful team.

My name is Ella Le and I am a senior in high school. I am passionate about cognitive science, inclusion, and helping individuals with ASD access therapies and resources. I am excited to work as the head of the Texas branch where I will be committed to expanding Purple Sense’s vision in my community.
